OUR SERVICES

From first visit to rejuvinated woodland

One team. One contract. From the first site visit through to woodland revitalise woodland - we handle everything.

Site visits & woodland reports.

Jon Davies walks your land with you personally. He'll spot potential withing the woodland that may have previously gone unnoticed. The appraisal is free. It's a chance to talk through what's legally and logistically possible, and to understand what your woodland could realistically return, both financially and environmentally.

Timber felling & harvesting.

Dave Holmes runs the job, operating our own modern machinery, managing our own skilled team, and overseeing our own Class 1 HGV transport — so there's no reliance on third parties and no corners cut. Our yard and sawmill at Hawkhurst means we can store valuable timber until it reaches the right market, letting us pay better prices. Where possible, timber goes into construction, furniture or fencing.

Felling licences.

Most felling in England requires a licence from the Forestry Commission. We've been working alongside them for decades and know the process inside out. We manage all applications on your behalf, along with any infrastructure needed to get timber out of the woodland safely. Full public liability insurance, a comprehensive health and safety policy, and all required accreditations as standard.

Woodland management & reinstatement.

Too much competition for light leaves trees stunted and crowds out the wildlife beneath. Thinning opens up the canopy, encourages new growth, and gives the stronger trees room to grow properly. Young, healthy trees also sequester carbon far more efficiently than older, less vigorous ones — so well-managed woodland is genuinely better for the environment.

Specialist woodland management.

Rhododendron clearance, invasive species (INNS) removal, ash dieback clearance, woodland ride creation and management. We handle it all in-house ourselves throughout the whole process. Whether we're clear-felling several acres or removing a single invasive species with handheld chainsaws, the standard of work doesn't change.
